Although the Moody team was not on site, they were always available to promptly answer any question that I may have had regarding their findings. They also provided weekly summaries and the supporting documentation proving the recovery. Once the audit was completed, Moody International provided us with a final summary report outlining the recoveries as well as recommendations to prevent future occurrences.

Donald Moody, CPA
Donald S. Moody, founder, leads the recovery audit services and consulting services practice. In this role, he assists organizations in the areas of growth and financial management and specializes in the recovery of lost profits.
Donald began his career in 1985 with one of the Top Five U.S. accounting firms, where he gained a solid foundation in auditing. From 1989 to 1997, he worked for three different organizations as Controller, C.F.O. and V.P. of Operations. His primary responsibilities within these organizations were controlling growth, reducing expenses and implementing strategies to take advantage of synergies with acquired companies.
From 1997 to June 2002, Donald was a Director/Partner with one of the fastest growing CPA firms in the U.S. In 1999, he expanded the firm's Tax Recovery Services to include Accounts Payable Recovery Auditing, which soon became the firm's fastest growing and largest division.
Donald has provided recovery audit services to a variety Fortune 500 companies, across an array of industries - from retail, technology, manufacturing, distribution and financial services to health care and academia. A graduate of The University of South Carolina, Donald is also a member of SCACPA, AICPA, the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors (AHIA) the International Accounts Payable Professionals and the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Garrett Dieck
As a Director with Moody International, LLC, Garrett's responsibilities include engagement management, business development and management of Client relationships. Garrett also serves as Director of the technology group where he ensures that Moody International auditors are empowered with the technological tools necessary to maximize audits and recovery for clients.
Garrett has more than 14 years of financial management experience, with both a Big Five professional services accounting firm and two multi-billion dollar corporations in the manufacturing sector. Prior to joining Moody International, LLC, Garrett's responsibilities included coordination of annual business plans, ERP systems implementations, quoting new business, financial modeling to assess the feasibility of proposed business opportunities, establishment and maintenance of standard costs using Activity Based Costing techniques, variance analysis, and both internal and external financial reporting.
Garrett received his MBA from Charleston Southern University with an emphasis in Information Systems Management and his B.S. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin at Parkside. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, the Board of Visitors of Charleston Southern University and the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Greg Talbott, CPA, CFE
Greg manages Moody's software development division and the CashFlow Guardian suite of GRC SaaS solutions. Greg is responsible for product management and professional services for customer implementations and support.
Greg began his career 17 years ago as an auditor with a large, regional accounting firm. From there, Greg joined one of the fastest growing CPA firms in the U.S., where he helped launch the firm's Accounts Payable Recovery Auditing service.
In anticipation of technology's growing importance in the accounting industry, Greg founded CashFlow Guardian, an audit analytics software company servicing the Fortune 500. Responsible for raising the first round of funding, he also oversaw product management and design, secured the first Fortune 500 customers and managed the company's professional services.
Greg holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Towson University and an MBA with a focus in Information Technology from Loyola College. He is a member of the MACPA, AICPA and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Greg has served on boards of several nonprofit organizations in his community and continues to support charitable causes.
